Forget-Me-Not

We are the ones God chose to take
We are the ones you could not awake
We are the buds you see on a tree
We are the ones whose spirits runs free

We are the bulbs you may plant in spring
We are the sound when you hear the birds sing
We are the ones that could not cry
We are the ones he chose to die

Our tears are the tips of the morning dew
We are the ones that you never knew
We are the rain that's left on the grass
The test for life we did not pass

We are the bees you hear and hum
We had no voice to call you mum
We are the forest that fragrance the wood
To be with you if only we could

We are the sun, the clouds, the moon
We are the blooms that went too soon
We are the stars that shine above
We are the ones you could not love

Forget-me-not's that's what we are
We grow in your garden not very far
We are a heart broken in two
We are the ones who belong to you

We are the ones you could not share
We are the empty space you see there
So really you see in every way
Forget me not for every day

I'm going to tell you something
I hope you'll never have to know.
I'll tell you how a heart can break
And tears can constant flow.
I lost my baby girl you see,
An angel in my eyes
God chose to take her hand one day
And led her to the skies.
But please do not forget my child
She was a person too
And forever she will live
Inside of me and you.
So, please don't ever tell me
That time will heal my pain
Because not even time
Can bring her back again.
Just tell me she is happy
In that land way up above
She's snuggled in an angels wings
All wrapped in Mummy's love.

An Angel Never Dies.

Don’t let them say I wasn’t born,
That something stopped my heart
I felt each tender squeeze you gave,
I’ve loved you from the start.

Although my body you can’t hold
It doesn’t mean I’m gone
This world was worthy, not of me
God chose that I move on.

I know the pain that drowns your soul,
What you are forced to face
You have my word, I’ll fill your arms,
Someday we will embrace.

You’ll hear that it was meant to be,
God doesn’t make mistakes
But that wont soften your worst blow,
Or make your heart not ache.

I’m watching over all you do,
Another child you’ll bear
Believe me when I say to you,
That I am always there.

There will come a time, I promise you,
When you will hold my hand,
Stroke my face and kiss my lips
And then you’ll understand.

Although I’ve never breathed your air,
Or gazed into your eyes
That doesn’t mean I never was,
An Angel never dies.

My baby sleeps in a field of dreams,
a promise of life, now broken.
My baby sleeps in a field of dreams,
never to be woken.
My baby sleeps in a field of dreams,
but now our dreams are shattered.
My baby sleeps in a field of dreams,
but she was real, she mattered.
My baby sleeps in a field of dreams,
innocent, untouched, unknowing.
My baby sleeps in a field of dreams,
gold light surrounds her, glowing.
My baby sleeps in a field of dreams
through wind and rain, unaffected.
My baby sleeps in a field of dreams,
an angel now, protected.
I've held an angel in my arms.
Lord, how blessed am I?
To hold this angel in my arms,
My baby had to die.

WHAT MAKES A MOTHER?

I thought of you and closed my eyes
And prayed to God today
I asked "What makes a Mother?"
And I know I heard Him say.
"A Mother has a baby"
This we know is true
"But God can you be a Mother,
When your baby's not with you?"

"Yes, you can," He replied
With confidence in His voice
"I give many women babies,
When they leave is not their choice.

Some I send for a lifetime,
And others for the day.
And some I send to feel your womb,
But there's no need to stay."

"I just don't understand this God
I want my baby here."
He took a deep breath and cleared His throat,
And then I saw the tear.

"I wish that I could show you,
What your child is doing today.
If you could see your child smile,
With all the other children and say...

'We go to Earth to learn our lessons,
Of love and life and fear.
My Mommy loved me oh so much,
I got to come straight here.

I feel so lucky to have a Mom,
Who had so much love for me.
I learned my lessons very quick,
My Mommy set me free.

I miss my Mommy oh so much,
But I visit her every day.
When she goes to sleep,
On her pillow's where I lay

I stroke her hair and kiss her cheek,
And whisper in her ear.
Mommy don't be sad today,
I'm your baby and I'm here.'

"So you see my dear sweet ones,
Your children are okay.
Your babies are born here in My home,
And this is where they'll stay.

They'll wait for you with Me,
Until your lesson's through.
And on the day that you come home
They'll be at the gates for you.

So now you see what makes a Mother,
It's the feeling in your heart
It's the love you had so much of
Right from the very start.

Though some on earth may not realize,
Until their time is done.
They'll be up here with Me one day
And know that you're the best mom!"

When God calls little children to dwell with Him above,
We mortals sometime question the wisdom of His love.
For no heartache compares with the death of one small child,
Who does so much to make our world, seem wonderful and mild.
Perhaps God tires of calling the aged to his fold,
So He picks a rosebud, before it can grow old.
God knows how much we need them, and so He takes but few,
To make the land of Heaven more beautiful to view.
Believing this is difficult still somehow we must try,
The saddest word mankind knows will always be "good bye".
So when a little child departs, we who are left behind,
Must realize God loves children, Angels are hard to find.

Precious Child Remembered

We know that you are hurting
We know just how you feel.
The pain deep inside your heart
You feel it can't be real.

We know what's going through your mind,
Thoughts that cloud it through the day.
We're on the road you're travelling now.
It can be handled, there's a way.

Don't fight the tears you're feeling,
You must just let them flow.
Speak of your child daily
To many people that you know.

Find others who can understand
They'll hold you as you cry.
The questions, we have all asked,
All the how's and every why.

We will always think of our child,
No one will have to say a word.
They will remain in our hearts
Our precious child remembered.

Ask My Mum How She Is...

My Mum, she tells a lot of lies,
She never did before.
But from now until she dies,
She'll tell a whole lot more.

Ask my Mum how she is
And because she can't explain,
She will tell a little lie
Because she can't describe the pain.

Ask my Mum how she is,
She'll say "I'm alright."
If that's the truth, then tell me,
why does she cry each night ?

Ask my Mum how she is,
She seems to cope so well.
She didn't have a choice you see,
Nor the strength to yell.

Ask my Mum how she is,
"I'm fine, I'm well, I'm coping."
For God's sake Mum, just tell the truth,
Just say your heart is broken.

She'll love me all her life,
I loved her all of mine.
But if you ask her how she is,
She'll lie and say she's fine.

I am Here in Heaven.
I cannot hug her from here.
If she lies to you don't listen,
Hug her and hold her near.

On the day we meet again,
We'll smile and I'll be bold.
I'll say, "You're lucky to get in here, Mum,
With all the lies you told!"

We Know You'r Only Sleeping.

Many hearts were broken the hour you left our lifes,

No time to get to know you more, no time for our goodbyes.

You were our ray of sunshine, our laughter and our joy, We were so blessed to have you, you were our baby boy.

I dont believe what many say, that you are up in heaven,

That you were chosen to be a rose and to God you were then given.

That wouldnt make you happy as you watch us from above,

Seeing us broken hearted, without the one we love.

So, the thing that keeps us going that gives us strength to cope,

Is the promise in the bible of the resurrection hope.

At Revelation 21 verses three and four,

It tells us of Gods promise when death will be no more.

Then He'll make the earth a paradise and welcome back the dead,

Where we'll hold you in our arms once more with nothing else to dread. LOVE YOU DAVEY XXX

If you ask me how I am today,

I’ll smile and say I’m fine.

You’ll smile then walk away from me

Saying ‘I told you it takes time’

Time is something I have got

As I wander place to place

As I look around the people I see

 Searching for my babies face.

I’m not really sure where time goes,

As I sit here all alone,

People try to talk to me

But I just cry, ignore the phone.

 I sit alone, I cry, I shake

Just thinking of what should’ve been

 And then I look around

 I’m hearing someone scream

It’s a sound of fear, pain and hurt

But no person can I see

As I look around to help that soul

I realise that soul is me.

I break down and fall to my knees

And cry for my poor baby

Why did she have to go from me?

Life is all why’s if’s and maybe

So when you ask me how I feel today

Don’t be fooled by the words I give

Ask to talk about my baby girl,

And make me want to live

I’ll tell you she is beautiful

A real fighter like her mum

I’ll tell you how she looked at me

While we waited for the sun

I’ll tell you how my heart broke the day

She had to leave us and was gone

Then let me cry and break down

Then just hold me till I’m done.

My Precious One...

Where did you go my precious one, why did you leave so soon ?
I thought I took great care of you whilst you grew in my womb.
I tried to be so careful, I wanted you so much,
To watch my tummy grow and grow then finally feel your touch.
To smell your newborn baby's scent and hold your tiny hand,
To rock you tightly in my arms and tell you all I'd planned.
There was so much we had to do, much love I had to give,
I'm sure that you'd have loved me to, if only you had lived.
Oh precious one, now you're not here, how can I carry on ?
When will the darkness fade away, when will I see the sun ?
My precious little baby, mummy's precious little one....

A Message from Our Angels

We were your special gifts that were sent from Heaven above
Your special ones that were to bring so much love;
But who would have known, our time would be so short
And leave you all, with such pain in you hearts.

The choice was made, and your children were sent
But in what seems like a moment, we, your angels went;
Leaving you treasured memories, and yet in so much pain
A void, an abyss, your tears still flowing like rain!

But………

Wait there for a moment, we wish you could because
And see the wonderful thing, which has happened to us,
The Lord was waiting, with His gates open to Heaven
And with other baby Angels, helped bring us within;
Such beauty in this place, we cannot describe
This home for us, from the moment we died!

We’re here waiting for you, so dry up your tears
Just go on with your lives, all free from fears,
Know that we will be with you to help and to guide
And we’ll never desert you; we’ll be there by your side;
If you speak to us daily, from inside your heart
And let us be assured, we’re not really apart!
